About Love Me Blue

At Love Me Blue, we’re passionate about beautiful textiles, conscious creativity, and doing things differently.

Since 2015, we’ve been sourcing and curating sustainable, plastic-free craft supplies - especially our much-loved upcycled sari packs, to inspire makers around the world. Whether you're embellishing, stitching, or starting a new project, everything we offer is thoughtfully selected with sustainability and quality in mind. We believe that creativity shouldn’t cost the earth - and that crafting with soul creates something truly special.

My Story

Hi, I’m Annie; founder of Love Me Blue, mum of two, and long-time lover of fabric and colour. Back in 2010, I co-owned a cosy little bar in Chorlton, South Manchester. Life was busy, but took an unexpected turn when, at 40, I found out I was expecting again - sixteen years after my first child! Balancing a newborn with late-night shifts became unsustainable, especially after my relationship ended and my father fell seriously ill. I sold the bar in 2014, bought a sewing machine, and started stitching from my dining table.

That humble beginning grew into Love Me Blue. What began with handmade accessories evolved into selling bundles of rescued sari fabrics on Etsy - quickly becoming a go-to for crafters craving something vibrant, ethical, and different. I hired help, sourced new suppliers, and the business blossomed. By 2019, our fabrics were being used by makers across the globe. Even through the challenges of the pandemic, we kept growing and kept it personal.

Sustainability has always been our core. From eco-friendly packaging to the four tonnes of fabric and paper we've reclaimed so far, Love Me Blue is proof that small businesses can have a big impact. And the name? My eldest child shares a name with a British butterfly - the Holly Blue, and butterflies are the epitome of transformation. The first thing I ever made was a heart-shaped pin cushion. So: Love. Me. Blue.
